Description:
The last and most powerful Urraco produced, the P300 was unveiled in 1974. Lamborghini increased the size of their new V8 engine to 3 Litres, and with it, boosted power to 247hp. Subtle styling tweaks were made, most noticeably the satin black louvers on the front and rear deck lids. At the end of Urraco production, just 190 P300s were made.
Understood to be one of just 32 right-hand drive examples in the most desirable, refined and powerful P300 form, this 1977, Blu Metallizzato, Lamborghini Urraco is a very rare classic sports car. The car has recently been rejuvenated under the careful management and guidance of Dave Alexander. During the restorative process the motor, suspension and general mechanicals were fully rebuilt to the exacting factory specification and standards by Dave Bryant of Link Engineering with machining work carried out by Basticks Engineering. The gearbox was overseen by Geert van der Ploeg and Dean Hannie of D H Auto Classics who is a well known craftsman in his trade did the bare metal respray with exceptional results. The interior was re-trimmed by ATL Trimmers and all 4 of the original Campagnolo wheels have been refurbished and fitted with brand new tyres.
Overall, a sympathetic but complete restoration with a complete documented photographic journal means that this seventies-sleek Lamborghini now presents in superb order, and is ready for a new driver or collector who seeks something unusual and eye-catching to enjoy and ultimately appreciate.
